Summer in the Parks begins June 4th!
Family Friends moves outdoors for the Summer! Every Monday we meet at Oldmeizer Park at 10…come check us out and join in the fun!
Kid toys! Kid clothes! Baby items! Household items! FF is selling THIS SATURDAY!
Check out what Family Friends has to sell this Saturday at the Metuchen-wide garage sale!! We’ll be hanging all day at St. Luke’s Fryer Hall…inside and out. We’ll have tons of baby/kid items plus household items so be sure to stop, peruse and BUY!
We’re moving on Monday!
We’re moving! Just down the hall anyway. Family Friends got a fantastic opportunity to change rooms and this Monday is the big day. The new room answers a lot of concerns we’ve had about the space in the hall. Our new room is smaller to help promote interactive play as well as exciting, yet not as rambunctious play. It’s also carpeted, has kid-size tables for snack and crafts and no stacked folding tables.
When we head outdoors for this Summer’s “Summer in the Parks” program, St. Luke’s Church will be giving our new room a face-lift; sheetrock, shelving and new tables/chairs!
We’re so excited for the change! We thank St. Luke’s for helping us and for having such a fantastic working relationship with our playgroup. It’s an awesome time to be a part of or join Family Friends!
Open House Monday March 5th!
Come check out Family Friends and what it has to offer from 10-12pm! There will be refreshments, members on hand to answer any questions and guaranteed fun for the whole family! Come join and spread the word, too!
The Dentist was a hit!
What a great visit from Dr. Torio, the fabulous dentist that came to playgroup today. He talked to the kids about how to properly brush their teeth, when they should brush their teeth and what foods to avoid. He even did a quick check to let us know if any of our kids had cavities. The visit really helped everyone understand how going to the dentist can be a positive experience and it was truly appreciated!
Show me your pearly whites!
After a few years of diligently brushing your kid’s pearly whites, it’s time to visit the dentist. Sometimes that can turn into the “Dreaded Dentist”. But we’re hoping a friendly visit and meeting a dentist outside the doctor’s office will help our kid’s get ready. Next week Family Friends will have a visit during playgroup from a dentist!

Will you be my Valentine?
Our family Valentine’s Party is this Wednesday! It’s one of 2 parties we have during the year and super duper fun for the whole family. Bring Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Brother or Sister! The whole family is welcome for just $10 to help cover the cost of NJ’s finest cuisine…PIZZA!
Bring a dessert to share with the group and come ready to have some fun with crafts, music, dancing and lots of laughter. It’s Valentine’s Day, let’s celebrate!
